Workshop: The Father

Sunday October 31st - ONLINE

Family Constellations reveal that our father is the source of our strength, our gate to society and the world, our professional realization, our mental sanity, our capacity to accept reality just the way it is (and thus our capacity to accept our mother the way she is)… While there is no taking of the father without taking our mother (and viceversa): Success comes from taking both in equal measure, as one.

Addictions (drugs, alcohol), violence, manipulation in relationships, lack of grounding or loosing touch with reality, lack of strength (even a lack of iron in the body), mental illness, difficulties to find or keep a job, difficulties with male authority figures, looking for gurus or spiritual fathers, rejection of the masculine… all and any of these show us that, at a deep level, we are lacking connection with our father.

At this workshop, facilitated by María Escribano del Moral, partipants will do exercises that will initiate movements of healing to reconnect with our father and all that inherently comes from him, in balance with taking our mother as well.  We will also do the new family constellations of some of the participants as led by the field, in the service of all present and those who resonate with them; in the service of life and reconciliation.

‘Who is most often excluded in families?
It is the father!
The mother has the tendency, for whatever reason, to pull the children to her, away from the father.
From what does she pull the children away?
She pulls them away from the earth and therefore, from life.
Children only come into connection to the world through their father.
In the past, one also knew this: The father had to stand in real life.
Only in this way the survival of his family was assured.
How is it for many children today, when they have to grow up without their father?
For example because the mother has separated from him and the children must stay in the arena of the mother, generally separated from the father?
Do they still remain on the ground?
Or do they become estranged to him and through this un-wordly?
What is the final outcome?
The children are angry with the mother.
The peace within the family has been broken.
How can it be restored again?
Where does peace come from? From fathers and men.
From whom does peace come in families? From the fathers.
When peace reigns in the family, everyone is happy, also the mothers and children.’
Bert Hellinger (translated from German by Bascha Meier)
Since society is but a reflection of what happens in families, Hellinger’s observation above is relevant to the whole of society regarding fathers and men. This means that the healing we initiate in relation to us, radiates across society healing many others, like throwing a stone in a pond generates waves that expand all across.
